Hal Rossen joined AZA Capital Management in 2008. With over 52 years of experience, Mr. Rossen is one of the true pioneers in the investment management business. Just one of his many achievements was the co-founding of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), which is now the governing body of all professional investment consultants and the entity that controls the CIMA certification.
Hal Rossen began his career in 1960 with Charles Parcells, one of the very first to approach investors with a “managed money” solution rather the “stock of the day ” tactics that dominated the 1950s and 1960s. Mr. Rossen later joined Bache & Company, where he became one of the most successful institutional investment management consultants of the era. During that time, Mr. Rossen co-founded the Investment Management Services Department in 1972. In 1994 he moved his business to Morgan Stanley where he became a Senior Vice President and later an Advisor in the Global Wealth Management Group. After a brief retirement from the brokerage industry, Mr. Rossen joined AZA Capital Management.
