Konstantin Koloskov is the Vice President of International Relations and Operations at Insight Technology Capital Partners, LP.
In his role, Konstantin brings a new investment and operational perspective to Insight Technology Capital Partners and a wealth of experience in international equities, and emerging markets. He also brings a wealth of personal investment clients and contacts that span the globe, not just in Russia and the former Soviet Union, but in Brazil, China, Middle East and Eastern Europe.
Konstantin was born in Russia, and received his primary and secondary education in Russia prior to competing in soccer on the international stage for the famed Red Army Team. Once in America, he was sought after by many colleges, and attended and graduated the University of Notre Dame.
In 1997, Konstantin started his career in New York as an associate at Interhimprom, the main international trading in Russian petrochemicals where he helped to develop derivative trading platform for the firm to hedge price fluctuations in chemical products and mineral fertilizers. From 2000 till 2005, he added to his experience as a trader at Marquette partners, a leading futures and options trading firm, specializing in index futures trading. In addition, Konstantin initiated Marquettes participation in Emerging Markets investments and trading.
In 2005, he joined UBS-O'Connor in Chicago as a portfolio manager. In late 2006, he proposed UBS's first macro Emerging Market hedge fund. He successfully managed over $200 million for the fund and managed it successfully until joining Insight Technology Capital Partners in 2008.
