About Us

Barbara serves as Investment Advisor and Director of Client Experience at AZA Capital Management. She is focused on client advocacy, financial advice, collaboration with third-party professionals, and ensuring an excellent client experience.

Barbara began her career in the Institutional Middle Market department at Merrill Lynch and advanced to Wealth Management units at Merrill Lynch, Salomon Brothers, Montgomery Securities, and Morgan Stanley. Barbara then co-founded InterOcean Capital LLC, an independent RIA firm, and helped grow it to over $1 billion in AUM while serving as Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Principal. Most recently, Barbara was owner and manager of Mint Private Enterprises, a single-family office servicing administrative and personal financial needs.

Barbara earned her B.S. in Political Science from Northwestern University. She also holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation. She and her family live in Western Springs, Illinois.
